Flat-rate $7.50 shipping anywhere in the United States on our plastic bottles, and free local pickup in Monticello and Tallahassee — which is also the only way to get the glass jars.
Local pickup — Monticello & Tallahassee
Pickup is free, and it is how most of our neighbors buy. Choose Local pickup at checkout and we will email you within a day or so to arrange a time and a spot that suit you.
We meet for pickups in Monticello and Tallahassee, Florida. If you are elsewhere in Jefferson or Leon County, email us anyway — we are often closer than you'd think.
The glass Pint and Quart jars are pickup only. They are heavy enough, and fragile enough, that we would rather hand them to you than trust them to a truck.
Shipping
- Flat $7.50 per order, however many bottles you buy.
- The 16 oz and 32 oz plastic squeeze bottles ship anywhere in the U.S.
- Orders go out within two to three business days, by U.S. Postal Service. Most of the Southeast arrives two or three days after that.
- Florida exempts honey from sales tax as a grocery, so there is no tax line on your order.
Payment
We take all major credit and debit cards, processed by Square. Your card details go straight to Square and are never stored on this website.

How much is shipping?
A flat $7.50, no matter how many bottles you order. The 16 oz and 32 oz plastic bottles ship anywhere in the U.S. The glass Pint and Quart jars are local pickup only.
Where do you meet for local pickup?
We meet for pickups in Monticello and Tallahassee, Florida, at no charge. Choose Local pickup at checkout and we will email you to arrange a time and a spot.
How long does an order take?
Orders go out within two to three business days. We ship U.S. Postal Service, so most of the Southeast arrives in another two or three days.
My honey turned solid and grainy. Is it bad?
Not at all — that is crystallization, and only real raw honey does it. Stand the jar in a bowl of warm (not boiling) water for fifteen or twenty minutes and stir. Avoid the microwave; it scorches the flavor and kills the enzymes you paid for. More about raw honey ›
Is it safe for infants?
No. Like all honey, raw or not, it should never be given to children under one year old because of the risk of infant botulism. Everyone older is fine.
What payment methods do you take?
All major credit and debit cards, processed securely by Square. Your card details go straight to Square and are never stored on our website.
What if my order arrives broken or leaking?
Email Wayne at redhillshoney@gmail.com and we will replace it or refund it, whichever you would rather have. Honey is a food product, so we cannot take back a jar that has been opened — but a jar that arrived in bad shape was never yours to open, and that one is on us.
Do you sell wholesale or at markets?
